Role: Senior or Lead QA Engineer Direct Client Requirement Lewisville, TX (Locals or who can relocate 100%) Job Overview looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer to bolster our quality assurance team. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who possesses a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing environments, with a keen eye for identifying and solving complex issues. Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly valued, as this background will provide critical insights into our specific testing requirements. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Proficient in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Experience with Defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, QTP) and frameworks. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in testing web applications and understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). Good SQL and analysis experience and techniques. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Prior experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for script-based automation is a plus. Experience with Defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
