| Role: 750271-VA-DOT- Business Analyst - Finance Location: Fredericksbrg, Virginia (Need Local candidate) Business Analyst - Finance Experience Required - Long Term Position - 2 years or Longer 3 DAYS WORKING AT WORKSITE ADDRESS Support of the fiscal, budgetary, and accountingoperations for AMD. Plans, organizes, develops, maintains, and coordinates thedevelopment and implementation of fiscal operations, processes, policies andprocedures for the MN program. Support development of the annual agencys MN budget andreviews statewide expenditure and spend plan data. Will perform monthlyprogram/project expense analysis and assist with the review and analysis of MNexpenditures and budgets. Will be responsible for supporting executivedecision making and presenting the financial aspects of projects to seniormanagement. Requires understanding budgeting and accounting with theability to analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions. Participate in the development and maintenance ofperformance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financialaccountability, and assist in identifying performance improvementopportunities. Provide good customer service to internal team members & externalcustomers, comprehensive analytical skills (Excel, MS Word), being an effectivecommunicator, as well as being self-motivated and showing initiative whileaccomplishing the task at hand. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements, monitoring contractor performance and payment, resolved disputes and contractual issues, develop and manage relationships with external contractors and organize and manage contractual documents.
