Strong experience in building PowerBI semantic model and dashboard development. Expertise on real time reporting based on streaming data, paginated, and embedded reporting. Hands on experience to design data model and performance optimization techniques required for Power BI. Ability to develop complex DAX, custom components, calculated measures, RLS (Row Level Security) and complex SQL queries. Exposure to Databricks, Data Lake Silver Layer tables, reporting views is added advantage. Hands on with technical exposure to latest features within data platform development. Ability to act independently to resolve issues, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Power BI Architect Location- Chicago, IL (Onsite Day 1) Technical Expertise Extensive experience of 8+ years in Power BI. Extensive experience of BI tools like Power BI, SSRS, Tableau etc. Advanced knowledge in data warehouse dimensional modelling. Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modelling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools. Hands-on experience in RDBMS platforms i.e. SQL Server, Oracle etc. Experience in Design solutions for aggregated facts using metadata. Good understanding of Data Visualization tools. Ability to develop Cloud Data and BI solutions as per enterprise requirement. In-depth knowledge of database and BI architecture design Worked on reports dashboards migration from tradition to modern BI tools like Power BI, Tableau etc. Managed high volumes of data at one time load Worked on Optimize data modelling, database and BI solutions Applying architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability Developing technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, and leveraging existing technologies when possible Participate in development of business intelligence solutions Ability to create and maintain conceptual business, logical and physical data models. Experience in translating mapping relational data models into Data Base Schemas. As part of Data Management team, responsible in implementing the BI Strategy. Define and prioritize client data requirements. Design advanced conceptual, logical and physical data organizations, models, repository, dashboards, reports within a complete functional and technical architecture. Translate to technical designs or developers designed solution, review proposed solution and optimize it when required. Participate in definition of testing strategy. Ensure business access to adequate, understandable, accurate data. Should be aware of the best in practice of the visual effects and the latest trends in BI & Analytics. Design, develop and continuously improve supporting activities (automation of versioning and release management, scheduling, security models, impact assessment of new changes ...) Accountable for End to End solution. Hands on knowledge with at least one Key BI Market tool (Tableau, MS Power BI, QlickView...) Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modelling tools, data mapping tools and data profiling tools. (SAS, R, ...) Knowledge of latest market trends. (Big Data, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, Mobile, ...) Experience in working in large cross border projects. Good experience in Power BI, Power Apps 10+ years of relevant experience working in BI tools and technologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
