Please find the below Job description and send the suitable resume to [email protected] Job Title: Databricks Administrator/Architect Location: Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC - Hybrid Duration: Long-Term Contract Experience: 15 years Note: Local to NC Only Required Skills: Lakehouse Architecture Implementation: hands-on experience implementing Lakehouse architecture on the Databricks Data Engineering platform, including SQL Analytics, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. Data Modeling: Strong understanding of both relational and dimensional data modeling, Coding Proficiency: experience coding with Python, SQL, and PySpark, with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and robust data integrations. Serverless Real-Time Architecture: experience implementing serverless real-time or near-real-time architectures using a cloud tech stack (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Spark technologies, including streaming and machine learning Azure Infrastructure & Data Pipelines: experience with Azure infrastructure configuration, networking, and architecting large data ingestion pipelines, as well as conducting data migrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar technologies. SQL Server Experience: experience with SQL Server features, including SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and CDC (Change Data Capture). Databricks Platform & Security: experience with the Databricks platform, focusing on security features, Unity Catalog, and data access control. GIT Versioning: experience with GIT for code versioning. Responsibilities: Provide mentorship, guidance, overall knowledge share, and support to team members, promoting continuous learning and development. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Databricks clusters. Ensure the platforms scalability, performance, and security. Provide escalated support and troubleshooting to users. Oversee maintenance of role-based access to data and features in the Databricks Platform using Unity Catalog. Review clusters health check and best practices implementation. Review and maintain documentation for users and administrators. Design and implement tailored data solutions to meet customer needs and use cases, spanning from ingesting data from APIs, building data pipelines, analytics, and beyond within a dynamically evolving technical stack. Work on projects involving on-prem data ingestion into Azure using ADF. Build data pipelines based on the medallion architecture that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources.
