The Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design data solutions that enhance business intelligence capabilities and analytics.Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration from various sources. Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and software engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure aligns with analytics and business requirements. Create and manage data architecture to support business intelligence and analytics tools. Implement and optimize complex queries and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations. Develop data models and schemas that enhance data accessibility and usability for various stakeholders. Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis. Monitor data systems for performance issues, ensuring data quality and reliability across various platforms. Document processes, maintain data security protocols, and adhere to compliance requirements.Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala. Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) and data pipeline frameworks. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
