( Must live in Nashville, TN and will go in the office 3 days onsite , 2 days from home) (Fun and flexible office environment) Must come from working at a Retail Company (example: Walmart, K-Mart, Grocery Stores, Target, Home Depot, Clothing Stores, Macys, any retails stores selling any products) (either current job or last job) You understand the lifecycle of a product - from ideation to delivery - and how technology plays a role Must have experience in strategic planning in Product Development, User Insights, and Product Strategy Must Have 3+ years of experience in business analysis, market research, and process flow documentation JOB DESCRIPTION Mid-level IT Business Analyst ( Retail experience ) (3+ years) The role of an IT Business Analyst is to primarily support the opportunity identification process for all new IT requests via the IT Business Integration & Strategy team. This is done by documenting new and existing business processes and opportunity specific business needs by partnering across all business units and levels of the organization. They are additionally responsible for market research, design-thinking workshop facilitation, and helping translate business needs and ideas into actionable items for delivery teams. Duties & Responsibilities: Partner with executive level clients, helping stakeholders envision their products, who they're for, and the impact they'll have capturing the business demands and need. 50% Craft detailed documentation inclusive of high level business needs, research studies, and key insights 15% Creation of detailed process flows showcasing the inner workings of critical business or system processes across the organization 15% Plan and facilitate client and team workshops in varying sizes on broad ranging retail specific topics 10% Engage in product/market research and crafting research deliverables with unique key insights and learnings for stakeholders to use 10% Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): What KSAs are required to perform this job You understand the lifecycle of a product - from ideation to delivery - and how technology plays a role You bring subject matter expertise to key domain areas and contribute new ways of thinking and innovation Youre inspiring and you can command a room, but youre humble and inclusive Youre passionate about technology and the retail industry You have experience in strategic planning in Product Development, User Insights, and Product Strategy.
