SAP ABAP developer Raleigh,NC Develop and Maintain ABAP Programs: Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and forms in SAP systems to meet business requirements. Technical Analysis and Solution Design: Work closely with functional teams to analyze requirements and design efficient SAP solutions. Ensure high-performance and scalable solutions. System Integration: Support the integration of SAP systems with other applications, including SAP S/4HANA, using BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, and web services. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support in troubleshooting issues in custom and standard SAP programs. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed code and processes in accordance with company standards and SAP best practices. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of ABAP programs to ensure efficient processing and minimal system impact. Upgrade and Migration Support: Assist with SAP upgrades, including system migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance of custom programs. Compliance and Security: Ensure solutions adhere to company policies, security standards, and industry best practices. Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP, ALV reports, module pool programming, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and enhancements (BADI, user exits). Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and CDS views is a plus. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA development, including ABAP on HANA, HANA database, and performance tuning. Understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP) and their respective business processes.
