Role: Senior Power BI Developers with Banking Experience

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

Report & Dashboard Development

Design, build, and maintain dynamic and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide valuable insights for banking operations, financial performance, risk assessment, and compliance.

Ensure data visualizations meet banking industry standards and compliance requirements.

Data Modeling and Integration

Develop data models, relationships, and measures in Power BI to support financial and operational analytics.

Integrate data from various banking data sources (e.g., core banking systems, financial databases) into Power BI.

Use DAX and Power Query for efficient data transformation and analysis.

Data Analysis & Insights

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Analyze and interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to banking (e.g., loan performance, transaction volumes, customer trends).

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with data analysts, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and refine Power BI solutions to meet business needs.

Present insights and dashboards to key stakeholders, translating technical findings into business language.

Optimization and Maintenance

Ensure dashboards and reports are optimized for performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot issues related to data quality and performance, implementing best practices for governance and data security.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer, with at least 1-2 years in a banking or financial services environment.

Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements.

Experience with other visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.

Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations within the banking sector (e.g., GDPR, AML, KYC).

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, able to translate data findings into actionable insights.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other data tools (SSRS, SSIS, or similar).

Familiarity with banking software (e.g., FIS, Fiserv) and knowledge of financial reporting standards.

Title: Product Manager/ Product Owner

Location: Dallas, TX or New York, NY

Duration: Long Term

Role:
As Product manager data you are responsible for
building out our target state data platform and support and collaborate closely on data governance processes. You will guide the development process, select, and implement new tools to deliver a successful data platform that meets the user needs and business
goals. You are the key link between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring a successful build out of our data platform. You will prioritize the product backlog and make key decisions to maximize the value of the data platform.  You will engage
closely with the internal business stakeholders, technology teams and the scrum team(s) to ensure successful product delivery.

Key responsibilities of an application support employee are:

Product Platform Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of stakeholders on the business side, digital platform side, and industry trends. Act as the primary data product
owner for the team, leading data discovery and data enrichment planning sessions with marketing and line of business partners & stakeholders.

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and the development team to gather and refine product requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly refined, estimated, and ready for development.

Release Planning: Collaborate with the development team to plan and schedule product releases, ensuring timely delivery of valuable features and improvements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, developers, and quality assurance, to ensure a shared understanding of the product vision and goals.

Product Development: Provide guidance and clarification to the development team during the development process, making informed decisions and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise.

User Experience: Advocate for user-centered design principles, conducting user research and testing to ensure the product meets user needs and delivers a positive user experience.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with business stakeholders, customers, and other key stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate progress, and manage expectations.

Product Performance Evaluation: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the product, gathering feedback and data to inform future iterations and improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and experience around developing Data Strategy for an enterprise scale organization.

Good understanding of modern Data architecture leveraging Cloud agnostic solutions and technology stack of tools.

Strong experience in Data Analysis, Data Governance and implementing Data science and advance analytics use cases.

Experience in implementing Cloud native solutions using Snowflake, Sigma, Collibra, Informatica, dbt, SnapLogic, ETL tools, R, Python, Revelate, SQL, Azure, AWS, S3, SageMaker

Hands on experience working with data management and data manipulation tools and willingness to continue to do so in collaboration with technical teams and Business Analysts/ BI developers and have
experience setting up Self Service environments and setting up guidance and standards for Self Service and in the future select Business professionals

Agile Project Management or Product Owner certification (e.g., SAFe)

Experience with Commercial Real Estate business, Real Estate Investment Management, Real Estate data

Strong knowledge in implementing Analytics, data science and machine learning use cases

Person Specification

Graduated from higher vocational training or an academic degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Business, with an emphasis on Information Technology or Computer Science.

8+ years of experience in data analytics or product management

Strong understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and machine learning

Experience with SQL, Python, and other programming languages

Affinity with, and an understanding of real estate in regard to asset and portfolio management is a plus;

Stress resistant, structured and accurate;

The international environment requires excellent verbal and writing skills in English.

Affinity with, and an understanding of data self-service and data governance.

Proven experience as a product owner or similar role in an agile development environment.

Strong understanding of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Knowledge of product management tools and techniques, such as user story mapping, backlog refinement, and release planning.

Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.

Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving customer satisfaction.

Excellent communication skills and presentation skills

Organisational Structure

This role reports to Head of Product Management with a dotted line to Head of Data engineering.

Title: Lead Azure Data Engineering

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Locals Only)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities

Lead the Azure Data Ingestion and Integration activities from onshore for the on-off team of around 8 people

Collaborate with the WAB Data Architects and Lead Data Engineers in data pipeline design

Co-ordinate across the data engineering workstreams happening in parallel including reviews of work from the team

Help PM/Scrum Master with technical effort estimations

Skills

3+ years experience with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage

6+ years of SQL scripting and database experience

5+ years of ETL experience with any ETL tool

Good understanding of data warehouse design principles

Agile DevOps working knowledge desired
