| Job Title : SAP FICO -15+Years Hybrid in Houston TX Immediate Role Design financial statements (balance sheets, profit & loss statements) as per client requirements. Implement tax configurations and integration with external tax systems. Configure cost elements, cost centers, internal orders, and profit centers. Set up cost allocation and activity-based costing (ABC). Configure profit center accounting and overhead management. Integration with Other SAP Modules: Work with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless integration with SAP FICO. Ensure proper data flow between FI/CO and other modules like SAP MM (Material Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP PP (Production Planning), etc. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems. Implement patches, upgrades, and necessary enhancements. System Testing: Develop test scenarios and conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure the system functions as expected, adhering to business requirements. Gather and analyze business requirements related to financial accounting and controlling. Document business processes and workflows, identify gaps, and propose solutions using SAP FICO. Ensure SAP FICO aligns with internal finance policies and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Train end-users on SAP FICO functionality and best practices. Create detailed documentation for configuration, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide training materials and user manuals for SAP FICO. Configure and generate financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards. Work with the finance team to ensure proper period-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting. Review and optimize SAP FICO processes to improve efficiency and performance. Stay up-to-date with SAP releases, new functionalities, and industry best practices.
