Desired Experience with Teradata Desired Knowledge of RACF Desired Experience of working with OIT Desired Question 1 Where is your candidate located Question 2 Is your candidate willing to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week Job Duties Critical production support for DB2, SQL Server, Teradata applications. Upgrade DB2 z/OS to the latest supported version. Install and Configure Always On HA and DR with multiple nodes on the Windows Server Failover Clustering. Coordinate upgrade activities with DAS/OIT, Vendors and Application development. Conduct performance tuning for the Database system and the application including the z/OS and Windows platforms. Assist project teams with technical solutions. Lead the Data Modeling for the new applications and enhancements. Train the junior DBAs in the database technology. Respond to and resolve "production down" and critical system and application problems and issues on a 24-hour basis, create Root Cause Analysis for the incident and take measures to prevent the similar incidents from future. Mandatory Requirements 15+years of Database Administration Experience. Excellent automation and scripting skills using REXX, QMF, JCL and Power. Senior level experience with IBM Mainframe family of products. Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Experience working in a 24x7 production environment. Desired Requirements (Including Certifications, years performing... ) Strong experience with DB2 and SQL Server. Experience with Teradata is a plus. Knowledge of RACF is a plus. Experience of working with OIT is a plus.
