Candidate must have hands-on experience working with RWE applications, especially within healthcare or related fields - **Educational Background**: A **Masters or Ph.D.** is preferred in fields like **HEOR, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Statistics**. - **Professional Experience**: 1-2 year of experience .This position is designed for a candidate who can quickly adapt and grow within the team with the right training. **Key Qualifications:** 1. **Educational Background**: Masters degree (or higher) in Statistics, Epidemiology, HEOR, or related fields. Advanced degrees are highly preferred. **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, SQL, and scripting. Strong data mining and statistical analysis capabilities. - **Programming**: Advanced knowledge in SAS, SQL/R/Python with experience in using macros in production code and problem-solving independently. - **Data Expertise**: Experience with large medical claims datasets and/or UNIX/Hadoop environments. . **Experience with Patient-Level Data**: Previous experience in RWE production with patient-level data is highly desirable. . **Clear Communicator**: Proven ability to articulate complex analytical concepts with clarity, both written and oral. **Purpose of Role:** As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and executing analytical components for studies that assess the value of our clients pharmaceutical assets. You will apply your statistical expertise and programming skills to analyze clinical, claims, and electronic health records databases, while also serving as a technical expert on RWE analytics for your therapeutic area. **Responsibilities Include:** - Lead analytics for assigned therapeutic areas (TA), proactively managing and resolving issues to streamline study processes. - Drive the analytical components of research reports, define specifications, and present study results while contributing to scientific publications. - Collaborate with V&E and HEOR scientists to identify data resources and refine clinical trial endpoint strategies. - Establish coding standards, streamline processes, and act as a bridge between analytical and business needs. - Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure effective collaboration across departments. **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Education**: PhD in Statistics or a closely related discipline is highly preferred. - **Collaborative Mindset**: Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams and with collaborative partners on time-sensitive analyses.
