This individual will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our broker and commissions payment platform, integral to our payer organizations operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in Java backend development, SQL server management, and ideally .NET, with a focus on root cause investigations, and system performance optimization. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain the broker and commissions payment platform using Java, .NET, and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, QA, DevOps) to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions. Optimize and refactor existing Java and .NET code to improve scalability, performance, and security. Support the integration of .NET components, if required, into the platform, ensuring seamless operation across technologies. Participate in code reviews, test, and debug to maintain high software quality. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the platform and related systems. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in payment processing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with a focus on backend services. Experience with java framework is highly preferred. Strong understanding of SQL databases (queries, optimization, stored procedures). Experience in developing and supporting payment or financial processing systems is a plus. Proven experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and Spring Framework. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of broker/commissions payment systems within healthcare or payer organizations. Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
