Position: AWS Cloud Engineer or Architect Locatiion: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid Role) local only Duration: 6-12+ Months Need minimum 11+ Years of Exp. All visas are fine but no H1 or opt Software Developer-Test-driven development. ** API Development - Python. Ability to write, test, and debug Python APIs using frameworks such as Flask, and FastAP; **At least 5 years of AWS experience with a variety of services, in priority order but not limited to: Lambda, ECS, S3, Dynamo DB, API gateway, SQS, IAM, Security Groups.; **Experience configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab Profile Types We Are Searching For: AWS Cloud Engineer or Architect Cloud Engineer with Python scripting exp Senior Python Developer with Strong AWS/Cloud Development exp Must Haves: Heavy AWS and Cloud Engineering background Heavy and broad engineering experience that spans over multiple technologies (junior Architect level) (12-15 years of experience in total tech career) Python Scripting experience Someone who can manage their own terraform and CI/CD platforms Experience building out serverless and stateful machines in AWS Experience with MicroServices design Experience building APIs on the backend Strong Communication Culture We are building Allys Generative AI Platform, enabling teams and applications across the organization to leverage AI in a safe and performant way. This means that in additional to being able to write robust application logic, developers are also responsible for deploying their own cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as code, as well as maintaining their CI/CD pipelines and making updates as required. The ideal candidate can excel in these areas. Tech At least 7 years of experience in Python programming including application service development. Ability to design and build serverless and stateful systems on AWS, that are scalable and highly available. At least 5 years of AWS experience with a variety of services, in priority order but not limited to: Lambda, ECS, S3, Dynamo DB, API gateway, SQS, IAM, Security Groups. Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred). Experience configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab. Experience with microservice development patterns. Experience working in an agile environment. AI/ML experience/certification is a plus. Experience with Apigee is a plus.
