This role is critical for designing and implementing data solutions that leverage AWS's rich suite of services, focusing on optimizing data workflows, architecture, and real-time data processing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, advanced SQL knowledge, and proficiency with AWS data-related services and frameworks. Responsibilities: Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of AWS-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Data Pipeline Development: Develop and manage data pipelines, leveraging AWS services like EMR, Glue ETL, Lambda, Step Functions, and Kinesis for data ingestion, transformation, and processing. Data Integration & Transformation: Use SQL, Presto, HIVE, and Spark for efficient data querying and transformation. Enable seamless integration across different data sources. Database Management: Design and optimize data storage solutions using AWS components like RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Timeseries databases, and S3. Real-Time Processing: Implement solutions for real-time data streaming and processing using Kinesis, CloudWatch Events/EventBridge, SNS, and SQS. Security & Compliance: Configure IAM roles and policies, manage VPCs, and ensure data security best practices are followed. Performance Monitoring: Utilize CloudWatch for monitoring AWS resources, logging, and triggering automated responses as needed. Qualifications: Technical Skills: o Strong proficiency in Python programming and advanced SQL skills. o Extensive experience with AWS services: EMR, Glue ETL, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Timeseries databases, CloudWatch Events/EventBridge, Athena, SNS, SQS, and VPC. o Expertise with data querying and transformation tools like Presto, HIVE, and Spark. Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex data architectures and optimize performance. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear technical documentation and stakeholder engagement. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hybrid cloud environments and familiarity with data migration and integration strategies. Knowledge of data governance best practices.
