| Job Title: Lead Front-End React Engineer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Responsibilities: Lead a team of 8 front-end engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining complex React applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested React code using TypeScript. Implement state management solutions using Redux or similar libraries. Create interactive data visualizations using D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, SVG, or Canvas. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience. Adhere to the Airbnb style guide for consistent code formatting. Work with databases (relational, document) and write SQL queries. Implement security best practices (HTTP/HTTPS, Content Security Policy, OWASP). Configure and optimize Webpack or similar module bundlers. Lead and mentor team members, providing technical guidance and support. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with back-end engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Be available for off-hours deployments and support as needed. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript Experience with Redux or other state management libraries Data visualization skills (D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, SVG, Canvas) UI/UX design principles Automated testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, Enzyme) Database knowledge (SQL) Web application security best practices Webpack or similar module bundler Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills: Experience with GraphQL Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) Experience with performance optimization techniques Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Note: Candidates must be local to Chicago and able to work onsite.
