JOB TITLE: Senior SQL Developer LOCATION: Parsippany, New Jersey- ONSITE (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Client: UPS Job Description UPS is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SQL Server development, capable of building and maintaining transactional database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and related objects. This role requires in-person collaboration and problem-solving skills to support multiple application environments and ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, and functions. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality database solutions. Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis, troubleshoot issues, and recommend and implement improvements. Database Management: Create and update databases based on requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple environments. Minimum Qualifications SQL & MSSQL Server Expertise: 5+ years of experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including development and optimization. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues quickly and effectively. Attention to Detail: Meticulous, able to work independently, and a collaborative team player. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities. J2EE Familiarity: Experience with J2EE application development is a plus.
