In this role, you will be responsible for administering Workday's Finance module, focusing on role assignment, feature release support, and overall finance administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance business processes and configuration experience within the Workday platform. Responsibilities: 1. Admin Work: Serve as the primary administrator for Workday's Finance module, handling tasks such as user provisioning, role assignment, security configuration, and general system administration duties. 2. Role Assignment - Finance: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand role requirements within the Finance module. Configure and assign roles to ensure appropriate access levels and permissions for users based on their job responsibilities. 3. Feature Release Support - Finance: Stay updated on new features and enhancements released by Workday within the Finance module. Evaluate the impact of these changes on existing configurations and processes, and provide support for feature adoption and integration. 4. Finance Administration: Provide day-to-day support for finance-related activities within Workday, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. 5. Configuration and Customization: Utilize your understanding of finance business processes to configure Workday's Finance module according to organizational requirements. Customize fields, reports, and workflows as needed to streamline finance operations. 6. User Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to educate users on how to effectively utilize Workday's Finance module. Create and maintain documentation of finance processes, configurations, and best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience working with Workday's Finance module, including administration, configuration, and support. - Strong understanding of finance business processes, terminology, and best practices. - Experience with role assignment and security configuration within Workday. - Ability to support feature releases and assess their impact on existing configurations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across finance and IT departments. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. - Workday certification in Finance or related modules is a plus.
