DETAILS The Application Architect II will work on developing and supporting high-priority applications in the Division of Employment and Training. The role includes: Designing and managing the application/software structural framework to align IT systems with agency goals. Collaborating closely with development teams to create application roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration among systems and IT infrastructure. Documenting application architecture, configurations, and procedures. Evaluating interactions between systems, applications, and services to understand change impacts and ensure effective integration. Conducting usability testing to enhance scalability, performance, and security compliance. REQUIRED SKILLS (6+ YEARS): Leading teams, planning projects, and establishing application architecture governance. Implementing and supporting multi-platform applications. Monitoring technological trends to make recommendations on emerging technologies. Experience with online transaction processing ( OLTP), web applications, and batch processing. Previous work in either: Government, Insurance, Accounting, and/or case management. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS (2+ years): Guiding architecture with Blazor framework and MudBlazor components. Working in government agencies with modified Agile lifecycles.
