Position Overview: This role involves strategic planning, design, and implementing secure, efficient network solutions aligned with organizational goals, providing documentation, guidance, and best practices for future network enhancements. Duties: Document comprehensive network designs that integrate multiple network technologies, such as LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and VPNs,to support the organizations business operations and communication needs. Design and document the entire network implementation process Monitoring network performance and taking follow-up steps to resolve latency issues and security concerns Performing regular network upgrades to create greater efficiency Creating documentation throughout the design and deployment process for future reference Develop patterns and standards for all network designs The ability to analyze data traffic and system performance to determine future upgrades. Work with our IT staff and thirds-party equipment and software vendors to ensure the network needs are met. Research new technologies and solutions, and asses new technologies for adoption Define multisite network operations and software applications. Train, mentor, and transfer skills to the extended team. Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains and networking layers. Aligns architecture strategy with business goals. Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy. Required Skills: 7 years of experience in technical design and architecture around network equipment and network software systems. 7 years of experience in handling issues that arise with large networks, prioritize network security and compliance, understanding security protocols, firewalls 7 years of experience with Network Security Frameworks and Best Practices, Cloud Networking and Virtualization Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) Infrastructure and Protocol 7 years of experience with Project data and documentation tools & experience with developing network design documentations and presentations using VISIO 5 years of experience in design, build and maintain multi-tier networks 5 years of experience with Advanced Network Design and Architecture planning, proficiency in Network Simulation and Modeling Tools 5 years of experience conducting site assessment of current remote site WAN/LAN/WLAN environments, identifying network problem areas and develop hierarchical based network design 5 years of experience designing and implanting multiple global Azure cloud solutions to support revenue generation. Worked to move key servers to cloud based services.
