The ideal candidate will have experience working in AWS environments and using modern CI/CD practices. Key Responsibilities: Support ongoing Data Science infrastructure operations. Develop and deploy AWS environments using CI/CD for a rapidly growing Data Science team. Manage large-scale environments to meet the needs of current and future Data Science teams. Oversee the image management lifecycle process. Assist in setting up and managing AWS accounts specific to the Data Science platform. Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) for hands-on development. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for environment setup and management. Write scripts and applications using Python and other programming languages. Manage databases including Athena, Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres. Leverage AWS services critical to Data Lake, Data Science, AI/ML teams. Resolve development and business user requests, addressing roadblocks. Ensure secure infrastructure, applying security measures and guardrails. Address infrastructure vulnerabilities within SLAs and maintain audit logs. Perform system upgrades and patching, providing on-call support as needed. Conduct root cause analysis and knowledge transfer with internal teams. Collaborate with Network, Database, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to align on strategies and projects. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science Infrastructure. Extensive experience with AWS-hosted Data Lake, Data Science, and AI/ML services. Deep knowledge of the following technologies: AWS services : SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, Athena CI/CD tools : Azure DevOps IaC tools : Terraform Docker and ECR (Elastic Container Registry) Security tools : AQUA and Kenna Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical write-ups. Preferred Qualifications: AWS and Terraform certifications. Familiarity with technical service management and product lifecycle maintenance. Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, shell scripting). In-depth knowledge of database technologies like Athena, Oracle, MySQL. Extensive experience with CI/CD and IaC tools (Azure DevOps, Terraform).
