Kindly go through the below job description and share me your consultants updated profile: Job Description Job Title: Process Engineer Finance Product Organization Need Candidate on PV W2*** Client: Capital One Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Richmond, VA or McLean, VA preferred (Open to remote candidates on EST or CST hours) Contract Duration: 12 months Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD Note: The preferred locations are Hybrid in Richmond, VA or McLean, VA . But the manager is open to remote as long that the consultant can work on either EST or CST hours. Overview: Capital One is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering team, partnering closely with our Finance Product Organization to drive innovation within our financial processes and tools. This role will focus on documenting, redesigning, and streamlining ERP-related processes with an emphasis on effectiveness, governance, controls, and monitoring, supporting modernization initiatives across multiple business and technology domains. Key Responsibilities: Process Documentation and Design: Document processes using swim lane process maps, critical-to-quality trees, performance metrics, control plans, and RACI roles/responsibilities matrices. Collaborate with business and technology teams to design, redesign, and implement new processes supporting ERP and financial activities. Risk Management and Process Evaluation: Evaluate ERP processes from a risk management perspective, particularly as they impact critical functions such as General Ledger, Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Travel & Expense. Lead or support business and risk teams to identify and implement process improvements, establish effective controls, manage defects, and ensure processes are sustainable and well-managed. Consultation and Compliance: Stay informed on financial industry laws and regulations, providing expertise and consulting to a diverse group of business leaders to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree At least 2 years of experience in process management, improvement, or design At least 2 years of experience in project management At least 2 years of experience in risk management (compliance, legal, audit, business risk office, credit risk management, or finance) Preferred Qualifications: Process excellence certifications (Lean, Business Process Management, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) Experience with process design in complex projects that span organizational boundaries and involve significant technology and business interactions Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Experience with financial processes, particularly those supporting accounting, capital markets, and other financial functions Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities effectively Additional Requirements from Supplier Call: Lean Six Sigma Certification: (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), with a strong understanding of the DMAIC methodology Finance/Risk Management Background: Experience or background in finance or risk management is a plus Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly within the Finance Product Organization Scope of Work: Focus on supporting the five towers within the Finance Product Org and driving business process innovation for finance tools This role requires a candidate who can think strategically while diving into detailed process work to enhance efficiency, control, and alignment across our Finance systems and broader organizational goals.
