| Senior Cloud Application Architect Atlanta GA -HYBRID 6+ Months About the Role: As a Senior Cloud Application Architect, you'll lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications on AWS. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, leveraging your expertise in: Cloud Architecture: Designing and implementing AWS-based solutions. Microservices: Architecting and developing Java-based microservices. UI Development: Overseeing UI development using React or Angular. Database: Designing and managing databases (PostgreSQL, Document DB, Elasticsearch). Infrastructure as Code: Automating infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools. Cloud Monitoring: Implementing and managing cloud monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead architecture design and implementation. Guide teams and ensure project delivery. Analyze and design infrastructure architecture. Implement best practices in software development. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development. Strong expertise in AWS, Java microservices, and React/Angular. Deep understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, Document DB, Elasticsearch). Proficiency in IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation or Terraform). Experience with cloud monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch). Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Knowledge of modern cloud-native design principles. Experience with software modularization and modernization.
