Senior UI/UX Product Designer Retail eCommerce (Hybrid - Midtown NYC) Need Only Local to NY/NJ with Valid State ID/DL Rate - $50/hr. Ideal candidates will have designed for major online retail platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, Macy's, Nordstrom, Bed Bath & Beyond, Levis, or similarspecifically designing online shopping experiences for products like clothing, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, and other retail goods. The candidate must have a strong portfolio of product-focused retail designs. Senior UI/UX Product Designer Retail eCommerce (Hybrid - Midtown NYC) We are seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Product Designer with a proven track record in retail eCommerce website design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience designing for online retail environments that drive sales and conversions, specifically working on websites that sell products such as clothing, shoes, jewellery, cosmetics, and other retail items. Familiarity with large-scale eCommerce platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, Macys, Nordstrom, and others is essential. In this role, you will be responsible for creating UI assets and proposing UX recommendations to optimize the user experience and maximize sales conversions on global eCommerce websites. Key Responsibilities: Design UI/UX solutions for online retail platforms with a focus on enhancing product discovery, shopping cart engagement, and sales conversions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing teams, to deliver intuitive, user-centric designs. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with the brands goals and user needs. Recommend UX strategies to improve the online shopping experience and optimize sales conversion rates. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions. Provide direction on the creation of UI assets to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints. Work on large-scale projects and maintain a long-term design vision for retail eCommerce websites. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, specifically working with retail eCommerce websites. Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design for retail-focused online stores (must include a link to portfolio with submittal). Extensive experience designing for eCommerce platforms that sell physical products (clothing, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, etc.). Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and how they apply to driving sales conversions online. Experience with UX research, user testing, and conversion optimization. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Experience working on long-term projects with good tenure in previous roles. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
