Please find the detailed job description and please do let me know if you are interested in this opening: Role name: Cloud DevOps Engineer Experience (Years): 8-10 Location: Atlanta, GA & Woodland, AL Client: TCS Rate: $50/hr Role Description: Python / Powershell/Bash Provisioning: Set up and configure infrastructure components (virtual machines, containers, storage) on both on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support Cassandra and Tiegraph deployments. Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) to automate provisioning and configuration tasks. Configuration: Install and configure Cassandra and Tiegraph clusters, including data centers, nodes, and replication strategies. Optimize cluster performance by tuning configuration parameters, such as replication factor, consistency level, and read/write ratios. Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and network security policies. Deployment and Automation: Deployment Automation: Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Automate the deployment of Cassandra and Tiegraph applications across different environments (development, testing, production). Implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, or other deployment strategies to minimize downtime and risk. Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to manage and automate the configuration of Cassandra and Tiegraph clusters. Maintain consistent configurations across different environments. Implement version control for configuration files to track changes and facilitate rollbacks.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitoring: Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to track key performance metrics, such as cluster health, latency, and resource utilization. Define alerts and notifications for critical issues and system failures. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with Cassandra and Tiegraph clusters, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and security vulnerabilities. Utilize debugging tools and logs to identify the root cause of problems. Implement automated troubleshooting scripts to streamline incident response. Capacity Planning and Optimization: Capacity Planning: Analyze historical data and future projections to forecast capacity requirements for Cassandra and Tiegraph clusters. Plan for scaling operations, including adding or removing nodes, adjusting cluster configurations, and migrating data between environments. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, such as slow queries, high latency, or resource contention. Implement optimization techniques, such as indexing, caching, and query optimization. Monitor and fine-tune database configurations to ensure optimal performance. Security and Compliance: Security: Implement security best practices, including access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
