Control hardware devices configured to system. Understand and manage system tasks (STC). Configure and manage system and complex tape resources. Diagnose system performance. Analyze and resolve system problems as first level. Understand and control major system tasks as first level. Escalate during issues to correct team and support engineering teams during resolution. Expected Support:7 X 24 System monitoring: end to end system monitoring, including system alerts, batch job workloads where applicable, system maintenance workload where applicable, all system monitoring tasks and associated workload. Includes all applicable system monitoring systems, processes, and work flow. Batch Monitoring : Respond to batch job alerts that include batch failures, late, long running and late starting jobs. Operators respond to the alerts by following documented processes to contact the responsible owners. Run and monitor job cycles to completion. Add/cancel/restart jobs. Open tickets as required per account for abend occurrences.
