Job Title : Scrum Master Location : Plano, TX (Hybrid Onsite 3 days in a week) Need Locals Senior Scrum Master A Senior Scrum Master plays a critical role in Agile software development teams, facilitating the Scrum process and ensuring that the team follows Agile principles and practices. **Job Summary:** The Senior Scrum Master is responsible for leading and coaching Agile teams, ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies, and driving continuous improvement within the team. They act as a servant-leader, facilitating collaboration, removing obstacles, and fostering a culture of transparency and self-organization. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Act as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum events (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices. 2. Coach and mentor team members in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, promoting self-organization, empowerment, and a culture of continuous improvement. 3. Identify and proactively address obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress, working closely with team members, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues. 4. Lead collaborative sessions such as backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives to help the team plan, prioritize, and continuously improve. 5. Monitor and communicate team progress using Agile metrics and reporting tools, ensuring transparency and visibility to stakeholders. 6. Foster a collaborative and cross-functional team environment by facilitating communication and cooperation among team members, product owners, and other stakeholders. 7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency. 8. Facilitate conflict resolution within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring that issues are resolved in a constructive and timely manner. **Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred). 2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification. 3. 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a track record of successfully leading Agile teams. 4. Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and other Agile methodologies. 5. Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. 6. Proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority. 7. Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile metrics. 8. Ability to adapt to change and foster a culture of adaptability within the team. **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Advanced Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe certifications). 2. Experience with scaling Agile practices for large organizations. 3. Knowledge of Agile engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).
