Location: san jose CA (Hybrid-2 days Onsite)-Local

Duration: 6 months/contract

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow across multiple modules. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful integration and adoption of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership
: Lead and manage complex ServiceNow projects from initiation through to completion, overseeing all project phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Module Expertise
: Coordinate and implement various ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and SecOps, ensuring they integrate seamlessly and fulfill organizational needs.

Stakeholder Engagement
: Work closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria. Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels.

Risk and Issue Management
: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop and implement contingency plans to resolve issues as they arise.

Vendor and Resource Management
: Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure they meet project standards, timelines, and budget requirements.

Project Documentation
: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, status reports, and change requests.

Budget Management
: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial resources are managed efficiently and project deliverables are met within budget.

Continuous Improvement
: Drive process improvement initiatives within the ServiceNow project space to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Experience
: 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in managing large-scale IT implementation projects, specifically involving ServiceNow.

ServiceNow Expertise
: Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations, preferably across multiple modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and/or SecOps.

Certifications
: PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications required. ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

Technical Acumen
: Strong technical background, ideally in ITSM or IT architecture, with the ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively.

Methodology Proficiency
: Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies.

Communication Skills
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Abilities
: Proven track record of proactively identifying project risks and issues and developing effective mitigation strategies.

Vendor Management
: Experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring successful delivery of project milestones.

Preferred Skills

Change Management
: Experience in driving user adoption and change management strategies for new platform implementations.

Data Integration
: Familiarity with data migration and integration strategies, especially in relation to ServiceNow.

Continuous Learning
: Willingness to stay up-to-date with ServiceNows latest capabilities and updates.
