The SAP Technical Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of SAP solution implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP technologies and a proven track record of successfully implementing solutions. Your primary duties will include collaborating with functional consultants and customer business stakeholders to understand their requirements and providing technical expertise to enhance and customize SAP applications based on those needs Lead the design and development of SAP solutions, focusing on functional development and enhancement. Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on best practices for infrastructure requirements and AI solution implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with existing SAP systems and applications. Act as a subject matter expert in SAP technical architecture design, providing guidance and best practices to the development team. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends and evaluate their potential to enhance the existing SAP landscape. Providing technical expertise and advice on SAP architecture and making recommendations to improve performance. Define and promote enterprise architecture standards and strategies. Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for Development, Execution, Operations & Infrastructure Architecture. Making recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of SAP applications, as well as integrated third-party systems. Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP, whilst also conducting due diligence and business assessments. Understanding of SAPs product strategy and roadmap, including positioning of S/4 HANA and enabling tools and complementary technologies. Ultimate accountability and oversight for driving overall S4 HANA technical solution architecture from business idea to technical implementation. Play a key role in design reviews, identify gaps and recommend changes. drive modernization, keeping in mind complexity of the landscape. Articulate and document technical solutions to clients, stakeholders, vendors, and team members at all proficiency levels. Present solutions and options to leadership, project teams and other stakeholders adapting style to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required skills: University degree in Computer Sciences, Business Informatics or a related subject At least 5 brownfield migrations from ECC to S/4 and 20+ years of experience in SAP technologies Experience leading BTP SAP Basis, Development and/or Integration teams Architecture design practice with various interconnected applications Designing highly scalable multi-tenant applications Designing SAP S/4 Technical landscape, specifically the SAP Rise platform, including BTP Experience with SAP BTP - Integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using middleware platforms such as SAP BTP Integration Suite. Experience with variety of SAP development - WRICEF objects, including User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancements, AMDP, CDS, APIs, EDI/IDoc within ECC + S4 environments. ABAP Programming, Hands on development experience in various development languages. High performance application design Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Extensive understanding of SAP S/4 HANA, architecture and related SAP products, as well as interfaces with other related systems and underlying database technologies. Ideally experience/understanding with SAP Basis, ABAP, Fiori, Security, S/4 HANA system conversation Experience in managing a complex SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions in accordance with SAP and industry best practices. Experience with multiple full life cycle SAP implementations, upgrades and support projects. Demonstrable leadership experience in full life cycle SAP implementations, alongside experience working on large global programs Ability to report both verbally and in writing to executive level. Preferred skills Strong proficiency in SAP technologies, including SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
