Position Full Stack Golang Developer - with Python Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long Term Description: As a Sr. Software Engineer on our Data Catalog Platform team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining various aspects of our data catalog platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform meets customer needs and operates at the highest levels of performance and reliability. Your role will involve problem-solving, coding, testing, and providing support for our software products. Primary Responsibilities: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in relevant programming languages. Debug, test, and deploy code to create high-quality programs and applications. Create comprehensive documentation that explains the functionality, architecture, and/pr usage of the platform. Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform. Conduct regular code reviews and testing to identify and fix issues early. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of progressive software engineering experience with software companies where you have had success in consistently delivering high-quality technology products on time and on budget. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, GoLang. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools. Excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical content. Demonstrated abilities to break down roadblocks and resolve obstacles, resulting in better partnerships. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Google Cloud and/or Azure cloud platforms. Experience with CI/CD patterns and technologies such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
