Hi Contract Role: Hadoop Administrator  Exp 11 Location: charlotte, NC (Onsite) Rate: 60 Job Description: Hadoop Ecosystem: Strong experience with Hadoop components including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Pig, ZooKeeper, Spark. Cluster Management: Experience with cluster management tools like Ambari, Cloudera Manager, or Hue. Security: Familiarity with Kerberos, Apache Ranger, Sentry, and best practices for securing Hadoop clusters. Performance Tuning: Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Hadoop cluster performance, including job tuning and resource allocation. Linux/Unix: Expertise in managing Linux/Unix-based systems (e.g., CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu). Scripting: Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or similar scripting languages to automate routine tasks and processes. Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup strategies and disaster recovery processes for Hadoop. Monitoring & Reporting: Experience with monitoring tools like Ganglia, Nagios, Grafana, or Cloudera Manager.
