Vendor : ITC Corp Contract Length: 12 months Position Summary: McKinsey & Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer I to join our BI/Analytics infrastructure support team. This role will involve solution architecture and administration across BI platforms, with a focus on KNIME administration, as well as support for Tableau and Power BI environments. Strong communication skills and technical expertise in BI and cloud-based platforms are essential. Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture: Design and implement solutions for BI/Analytics platforms across a distributed, cloud-based environment. Platform Support: Provide infrastructure support for BI platforms including Tableau, KNIME, and Power BI in both on-premises and cloud environments. KNIME Administration: Manage KNIME Server, handle user/team management, monitor job queues, and provide real-time hub monitoring. Tableau Infrastructure: Maintain Tableau Online (SaaS) with tasks such as performance tuning, security, vendor coordination, upgrades, and integration. BI/Analytics Security: Identify and mitigate security issues across BI tiers and AWS services, advising on patching, upgrades, and enhancements. Troubleshooting & Escalation: Address escalated BI/Analytics infrastructure issues and recommend/implement solutions. Policy Development: Develop, recommend, and enforce standards and procedures for high availability, scalability, and access management across BI systems on AWS/Azure. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience: 3-5 years managing and supporting BI/Analytics tools such as KNIME, Tableau, Power BI, Fabric, AWS/Azure. KNIME Expertise: Strong knowledge of KNIME Server administration, user management, job queue monitoring, and hub monitoring. Cloud & Containerization: Proficiency with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters, including components like pods, namespaces, and nodes. Tableau Online Management: Skilled in best practices for Tableau Online, including backup/restore, upgrades, and security. Public Cloud Knowledge: Working experience with AWS and Azure cloud services. RDBMS & Analytics Knowledge: Understanding of RDBMS systems, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and experience with PL/SQL, ETL, and Data Analytics. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Relevant certifications in Tableau, KNIME, Power BI, AWS, and Azure. Additional Skills: Knowledge of Public Clouds and expertise in BI platform integration and data migration. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-driven Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in BI/Analytics and KNIME administration.
