Job Title: IT - DataAnalyst Location/Remote/Workspace: 100% Remote US Duration: 6 months CTH Work Permit: USC, GC, GC-EAD only! Candidate Technical skills &key responsibilities: Training; overview of the 4 tools owned by ECO (Enterprise Change Office); review existing change portal documentation; start attending meetings. Will be part of a larger team and paired up; once up to speed will be working more independently. Leverage technologies and tools (i.e. PNC approved metadata tool: Alation) to create and maintain centralized source for ECO metadata and ECO data dictionaries for four (4) ECO owned applications/tools. Analyze existing documentation and systems to ascertain business metadata (field business definition, values, formats, and usage information) Serve as key resource for ECO Product Owners/Data Owners and Data Stewards and partner with them to complete ECO data dictionaries and ensure ongoing maintenance. Will assist in developing timeline and processes for completion. Upon completion of data dictionaries, will assist in managing data definitions and data traceability within data repository to improve documentation and coordination build out of data lineage strategy. Leverage resource to assist team by partnering with ECO Product Owners/Data Owners and Data Stewards to analyze existing data quality rules, research automation efforts resulting in recommendations, and implement proactive monitoring practices to build data quality that begins with the source to ensure data integrity. Establish and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders within ECO and throughout PNC to champion approach, achieve milestones, identify risks, ensure adoption all while maintaining directional alignment with ECO Strategy. Provide support to ECO Data Governance and Testing team as needed in creation of Data Governance artifacts, guidelines, processes, and when implemented assists team in monitoring ECO compliance. Serve as key resource promoting Data Governance and Testing team efforts Proficient in MS Office Suite, SharePoint knowledge, and experience with JIRA, Confluence, Alation and other metadata tools. Clarizen product knowledge would be a bonus. Looking candidate with strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of data management.
