| Apache Superset Migration Expert Location: 100% Remote Duration: Contract We are seeking an experienced data visualization professional to lead the migration of Tableau dashboards to Apache Superset. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both Tableau and Superset, with a focus on data modeling, reporting, and dashboard functionality. The goal of this role is to ensure that Tableau reports and dashboards are accurately and efficiently recreated in Superset. Responsibilities: Analyze and review existing Tableau dashboards to understand underlying data sources, joins, calculated fields, and visualizations. Replicate Tableau visualizations, calculated fields, and data models in Superset ensuring functionality is preserved or enhanced. Optimize performance of Superset dashboards and SQL queries to handle large datasets efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate migration of data visualizations and reports. Experience: Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience with Apache Superset. 8 years or more in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields. Proven experience with Tableau and other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, etc.). Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server). Expertise in data modeling, data structures, and ETL processes. Ability to translate Tableau dashboards and reports into Apache Superset. Understanding of backend data connections and optimization of data queries in Superset. Familiarity with YugabyteDB or similar distributed SQL databases.
