Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a technology finance role within a shared services Role- Project manager Location- Hybrid/Midtown New York City 3 days a week Duration- Long Term Visa- No H1B, OPT, CPT We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technology Finance Business Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting of our Technology cost spend within our shared services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and management within the technology sector, with a particular focus on optimizing and reporting on technology expenses. This role is critical in ensuring that our technology investments align with our overall business strategy and deliver maximum value. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the financial performance of technology cost centers. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to track technology spend and forecast future expenditures. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for technology departments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Conduct regular forecasts and variance analyses to ensure accurate financial planning. Work closely with technology leaders to manage budget adherence and optimize resource allocation. Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within technology operations. Analyze and benchmark technology costs against industry standards to ensure competitiveness. Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to negotiate favorable contracts and manage vendor relationships. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies for technology investments. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate the financial impact of new technology initiatives and projects, ensuring they deliver value and align with business goals. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes within the technology organization. Support internal and external audits related to technology financials. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary financial advisor to technology leadership, providing insights and guidance on financial matters. Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and accountability. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a technology finance role within a shared services environment. Proven track record of managing and optimizing technology cost spend. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with financial management software and ERP systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ts since 1984.
