Job Description We are seeking a Senior Oracle Applications Specialist with in-depth experience in Oracle-based applications, specifically Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Analytics Publisher. This role requires an onsite presence and is suited for a skilled professional with extensive expertise in maintaining and developing enterprise-level applications within the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively support and enhance our applications environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement, and document new enterprise application solutions for the Utilities department. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing software applications, as well as implementing enhancements. Perform troubleshooting of infrastructure systems impacting application performance. Create and maintain documentation for applications and programs. Contribute to reviewing and implementing IT application-based policies, procedures, and standards. Collaborate with cross-divisional team members to conduct root cause analysis of complex issues. Work with internal teams, management, and vendors on security discussions for both short-term projects and long-term initiatives. Develop and implement software integrations in collaboration with vendors and business users. Analyze user requirements for the development and modification of computer systems. Assist in planning and feasibility analysis for proposed systems. Write technical specifications to meet quality standards for systems development. Provide assistance with non-enterprise application troubleshooting and implementation. Perform additional related tasks as required. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience: 7-10 years in enterprise-level application support and maintenance. Strong experience with Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Analytics Publisher. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse populations and teams. Desired Qualifications Experience with process design, logical workflow analysis, and design. In-depth configuration, code, analysis, and output experience. Extensive background in Oracle technologies. Experience supporting utilities industry processes. Strong skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
