Title: Scrum Master Location: Whippany, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Only Locals, USC JOB DESCRIPTION: Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: o Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. o Ensure that all Scrum ceremonies are effective and serve their intended purpose. Team Coaching and Support: o Provide guidance to the team on Scrum practices, Agile principles, and continuous improvement. o Foster a self-organizing team that collaborates effectively. o Encourage and support team members to improve their performance and skillsets. Remove Impediments: o Identify and remove any obstacles that may hinder the teams progress. o Act as a buffer between the team and external distractions or issues. Promote Agile Best Practices: o Advocate for Agile methodologies and ensure that Scrum processes are being followed correctly. o Coach the team in maintaining and improving high standards of agile practices. Stakeholder Engagement: o Collaborate with product owners, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, expectations, and priorities. o Help facilitate transparency in progress, issues, and performance metrics. Continuous Improvement: o Work with the team to implement improvements based on retrospective feedback. o Encourage a culture of learning and adaptability within the team. Reporting and Metrics: o Track team progress through Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint reports. o Provide insights on team performance and provide regular status updates to management. Foster Team Collaboration: o Create an environment that promotes collaboration, communication, and mutual respect within the team. o Act as a servant-leader, focusing on the needs of the team and enabling them to achieve their goals. Card Product Development: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new card products or enhancements to existing products (e.g., credit, debit, prepaid). o Ensure card products meet customer needs, regulatory compliance, and internal standards. Data Analysis & Reporting: o Analyze transaction data, customer behavior, and other relevant data sources to derive insights and inform business decisions. o Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for tracking card product performance, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes. o Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure the companys card products remain competitive and relevant.
