Please give me a call back at Desk: 609-333-9000 Ext: 96 Title: Wordpress Engineer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Hiring: Contract to Hire Skill: Wordpress ,Gutenberg (Must), PHP, React We seek a candidate who can display: Communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders and take ownership & accountability manage priorities contribute proactively to performance optimization contribute to efficient coding standards have experience in custom plugin development experienced in React + Gutenberg dynamic block creation find ways to increase efficiency effective knowledge of unit testing automation A balance of Front-End, Full-Stack, Back-End and Plug-In specialty across the WordPress engine is desired. Responsibilities: Participate in design, code, and test Inspections throughout product life cycle to contribute technical expertise and to identify issues Supply work breakdowns, estimates and status updates to project and engagement management Understand technical project priorities, implementation dependencies, risks and issues Lead EPICs in our agile development process, requiring coordination, direction and mentorship of multiple development resources Lead development scrum groups, taking responsibility for the outcome of multiple stories across several developers Engage in story planning, negotiating between PM, DEV and QA to derive appropriate stories based on fair compromises between original specifications, technical design, and testing possibilities Develop, enhance, document, and maintain WordPress plugins Lead development team in architecture and design of new features Required Skills WordPress Gutenberg WordPress Plugins PHP JavaScript React Node JS CSS HTML Amazon Web Services (AWS) Docker MySQL CI/CD Unit Tests Skills Wordpress, PHP, React, Gutenberg Thanks & Regards, Harish Aitha Talent Acquisition Specialist Softcom Systems Inc.
