| Job Role: - Groovy Developer with GSP Location: Remote Long term Project Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using Groovy, GSP, Grails, Spring, and Hibernate. Implement server-side rendered views using GSP, ensuring efficient, dynamic content generation. Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate Groovy applications with Spring for dependency injection, REST services, and other back-end components. Utilize Hibernate for ORM, ensuring optimized database access and managing persistence. Optimize performance of Groovy and GSP applications, ensuring scalability and efficient data handling. Develop and integrate REST APIs, ensuring seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems. Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for efficient data access and storage. Implement automated tests to ensure code quality, covering both business logic and web layer functionality. Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage applications, with optional experience in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments. Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot issues in both development and production environments. Stay updated with the latest trends in Groovy, GSP, Spring, and Hibernate to continuously improve application development. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in software development using Groovy, with strong proficiency in GSP (Groovy Server Pages). Solid understanding of the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security). Strong experience with Hibernate for object-relational mapping (ORM) and database management. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Experience in building and integrating RESTful services. Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
