Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and optimizing ABAP solutions within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development, a deep understanding of SAP functionality, and a proven ability to manage complex development tasks, while working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Lead the development of complex custom ABAP programs, including reports, forms, interfaces, and user exits for various SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA). Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP code and reports for performance, ensuring efficient data processing and system stability. Enhancements & Customization: Implement SAP enhancements through user exits, BADIs, and custom BAPIs to extend standard SAP functionality. Integration & Interfaces: Develop and maintain integration solutions between SAP and third-party systems using IDocs, RFCs, and other technologies. Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into effective ABAP solutions. Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, helping to improve technical skills and adherence to best practices. Testing & Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of development processes, coding standards, and development methodologies. Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including expertise in ABAP/4, ABAP Objects, and performance tuning. Strong experience with SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA) and ABAP development tools. Proficient in SAP integration technologies, such as IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs. Experience with SAP enhancements, including user exits, BADIs, and BAPI implementations. Ability to work closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver tailored technical solutions. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex ABAP issues. Solid understanding of SAP development lifecycle, from design to testing and support.
