Job Summary: Our telecommunications client is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer for a contract role supporting three teams with a focus on dashboard creation, reporting, and automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications, working on both backend (Python/Django) and frontend (JavaScript/Tableau) technologies. You will play a key role in integrating backend services, creating user interfaces, and automating systems. Key Responsibilities: Reporting & Dashboard Development : Design and develop reporting systems and interactive dashboards using Tableau and Plotly. Ability to support data-driven insights through automated reporting is critical. Backend Development : Design and implement backend services, including Python/Django applications. Expertise in RESTful APIs, multi-threading, and data modeling is necessary. Automation & System Integration : Support automation efforts to enhance Wi-Fi test engineers' lab experience, integrating hardware automation and backend systems. CI/CD & Containerization : Experience in continuous integration and deployment, utilizing tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab. Team Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and ongoing feature development. Mentorship & Decision Making : Mentor junior developers and make key technical decisions in collaboration with senior team members. Database Knowledge : Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.) and their integration with backend systems. Required Qualifications: Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in Python and Django, with solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end work (20% focus on frontend development). API Development : Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including experience with multi-threading, concurrent programming, and database management. Automation : Familiarity with hardware automation processes and backend integration. Dashboard/Analytics Tools : Experience in developing interactive dashboards using Tableau, Plotly, or similar data visualization tools. CI/CD & DevOps : Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization in production environments. Version Control : Proficient in using Git for version control (branching, merging, GitLab, etc.). Communication Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide technical staff. Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Desirable Qualifications: Database Experience : Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Cloud Platforms : Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
