This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day database operations, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Optimization: Design and fine-tune SQL Server databases for maximum efficiency and reliability. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DBAs, driving best practices and ensuring smooth operations. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues, streamline queries, and improve indexing. Data Security & Compliance: Safeguard data in line with security standards and compliance requirements. Automation & Scripting: Create scripts to automate database management and improve workflow efficiency. Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years in SQL Server database management, with 3+ years in a lead role. Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL query optimization, high availability/disaster recovery setups, cloud database solutions (Azure SQL, AWS RDS), and scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell). Certifications: Microsoft Database certifications preferred.
