The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SQL, SSIS, ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture. You will play a crucial role in designing and architecting data systems for our Banking client, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-performance data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Mentor: Lead a team of data engineers, guiding them in best practices for data engineering, architecture, and design. Data Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable data models and architectures for complex data environments. SQL & ETL Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, and design and implement ETL pipelines using SSIS. Data Modeling: Develop logical and physical data models, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the data architecture. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on data engineering solutions. Performance Tuning: Optimize queries, databases, and data pipelines to ensure high performance and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: 12+ years of experience in SQL, SSIS, ETL, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Architecture. SQL: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance. SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services): Extensive experience in developing ETL workflows using SSIS. ETL: Proficiency in ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading. Data Modeling: Strong experience in designing logical and physical data models. Data Engineering Leadership: Experience in leading data engineering teams and designing large-scale data solutions. Banking Industry Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with data requirements and challenges in the banking sector is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience in Data Warehousing and Big Data Solutions. Strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality practices. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
