Position Title: : IT - Business Systems Analyst Position Location: Hybrid- Pittsburgh PA . Duration: 6 months CTH. Summary: The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. Job Responsibilities: The position will provide analytic support to our business lending portfolio origination analytics to track and review of credits trend of new origination. Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards solutions. Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. Reviewing and improving existing reporting and dashboard solutions and collaborating with teams to develop new solutions. Conducting tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues. Hands on experience with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management). Create and edit queries within Tableau to build calculated fields. Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Collaborate with internal teams, clean, and standardized data to meet the business requirements. Work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas. Using SAS or SQL to extract and manipulate data to support reporting Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Skills: 6-8 years experience as a BSA is required. Experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau. 5+ Years experience with SAS or SQL in a big data environment or using large relational databases to support analytic reporting Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture. Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple queries to create calculated fields. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models. Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. Would prefer previous experience in Financial services or banking industries. It is however, not required.
