Title : QA Lead Location : Remote/Boston, MA Duration : 12 Months/Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: USC/GC/GCEAD QA Lead with experience in Life Sciences domain Boston, MA/ Remote. The remote candidates must be at Boston on need basis. Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with extensive knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and experience in the life sciences domain. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of QA experience, including hands-on testing, automation, and team leadership. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, ensuring quality deliverables, and managing client expectations. Lead QA activities across projects, including planning, execution, and reporting to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with US-based life sciences clients to gather requirements, define test strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GxP). Manage a QA team of 15-20 testers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development. Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and usability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, and operations) to align testing objectives with business requirements. Identify risks and bottlenecks in the QA process and implement proactive solutions to ensure smooth delivery. Ensure that regulatory and compliance requirements are met, maintaining documentation for audits and inspections. Lead test automation initiatives by developing frameworks or selecting the right tools for automation. Monitor and report QA metrics such as defect densities, pass/fail rates, and test coverage. Implement continuous improvements in QA processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality. Expertise in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP/UFT, ALM, and LoadRunner. ISTQB Certified Tester (Advanced Level or equivalent). Strong leadership and mentoring skills to build a motivated QA team.
