Review test results, defects and change requests to analyze the software impacts Works on specific tasks under the direction of manager or senior test engineer. Participates in test reviews to better understand requirements and receive guidance on test approaches. Applies test design principles and technologies to verify software meets requirements and identify anomalies in software operation. Supports senior engineer in Investigation of new test technologies and tools. Performs module level and functional level testing of software applications. Documents defects, capturing steps to reproduce and information for debugging. Identify test automation areas on the projects. Validates software test tools according to corporate procedures. Collects data to generate metrics to assess test progress and software quality.
