Job Title: Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location : Basking Ridge, NJ (Onsite) Job Summary:- The Data Analytics SME is responsible for delivering advanced data insights, developing analytical solutions, and guiding cross-functional teams to leverage data for decision-making. The role involves working closely with business leaders, data scientists, and data engineers to ensure high-quality data solutions that align with organizational goals and add measurable value. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights for decision-making. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from data to drive business improvements. Perform exploratory data analysis and build predictive models as necessary. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices. Guide and advise on the development of analytics models and frameworks. Implement and optimize machine learning models where relevant. Solution Development: Design and implement data solutions tailored to specific business needs. Work with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and reliability. Provide end-to-end support, from data extraction to visualization. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Translate business questions into technical specifications for data scientists and analysts. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and train junior data analysts and data scientists. Share best practices, trends, and new insights in data analytics with team members. Develop and maintain documentation for analytics processes and solutions. Project Management: Lead and manage analytics projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for analytics initiatives. Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and communicate status to stakeholders. Qualifications:- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven record of translating data into meaningful insights. 3+ years of experience in data analytics for telecom environment for network performance data Demonstrated expertise in using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing technologies. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical audiences. Project management experience is a plus. Soft Skills Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. This role is critical for data-driven decision-making and often functions as a bridge between technical and business teams, ensuring data is both accessible and actionable to meet organizational goals.
