Role : SAP Manufacturing Business Analyst (Functional Consultant) Duration :6+ months Location :4 days onsite in Port Washington, NY Visa : Only USC/GC Summary: The SAP Manufacturing Business Analyst Consultant supports manufacturing and production operations by analyzing business processes, identifying SAP solutions, and implementing improvements within SAP Manufacturing modules (such as SAP PP, MM, QM, or PM). This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to ensure that SAP solutions align with operational needs, enhance efficiency, and support business goals. Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications. Conduct workshops to map current processes, identify areas for improvement, and configure SAP Manufacturing modules to meet specific requirements. Customize SAP functionalities to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Ensure seamless integration of SAP Manufacturing modules with other SAP areas, such as SD, FI/CO, and WM. Design and implement SAP solutions for workflow optimization, data tracking, and inventory management. Lead or participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects for manufacturing operations. Define testing strategies, conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality. Analyze manufacturing KPIs and SAP reports to identify improvement areas and implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance quality. Develop and maintain documentation, including configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures, and create training materials for end-users. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in SAP Manufacturing modules (PP, MM, QM, or PM), with a focus on configuration and process optimization.
