Proven ability to translate technical requirements to the business. Specific knowledge of CareFirst business and BlueCross BlueShield corporate structure. An understanding of the relationships among various units within the corporation. Ability to understand, develop, and socialize security policies, standards, and procedures. Proficiency with security controls for cloud environments (Azure and AWS) including FedRAMP requirements. Familiarity with security tools such as wireless and network scanning applications, vulnerability assessment applications and concepts, IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention, and other appropriate security related tools and capabilities. Experience working with Information Security tools in a large, complex, multi-platform environment. Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and compliance requirements. Understands complex cybersecurity issues as well as emerging technologies and develop creative solutions while ensuring compliance with cyber security laws and regulations Experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or third-party assessments JOB DESCRIPTION- Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Risk Management: Lead cybersecurity risk management processes, support continuous monitoring, and collaborate with various teams for effective risk assessment and mitigation. Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, generate detailed reports, and maintain documentation to support organizational security objectives. Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures that align with NIST, FedRAMP, and HIPAA requirements. Risk Analytics: Develop and support security metrics and KPIs, working with analytics teams to enhance risk visibility and reporting. Security Solutions: Design and implement security controls and solutions, test new technologies, and work closely with vulnerability management teams to address identified risks. Other Desired Qualifications Framework Knowledge: Deep understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and Information Security Risk Management methodologies, including the FAIR quantitative model. Cybersecurity Governance: Experience with eGRC programs and platforms for Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Technical Translation: Ability to effectively translate technical cybersecurity requirements into business terms. Cloud Security Controls: Proficiency in managing security controls for cloud environments (Azure, AWS), including FedRAMP compliance. Security Tools: Familiarity with tools for network scanning, vulnerability assessment, IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention, and other cybersecurity functions. Large-Scale Environments: Proven experience with information security tools in large, multi-platform environments.
