| From: Roshan, Vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Role : Software Engineer (API ) LOCATION: EST/CST( Remote ) CONTRACT: 12+-month contract Need strong Skillsets: Kotlin, Microservices, API, and Spring Boot Must Haves: 10+ years of US experience Senior Kotlin API Engineer 3+ years of Kotlin and Spring Boot API Architecture API design API developing Nice to Haves: ServiceNow Platform Integrations, Dynatrace, Snyk (Security Vulnerability Management), and Jira Software Engineer Hands-on senior developer with deep expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot who can contribute to designing, developing, and optimizing scalable APIs. This role requires a strong focus on architecture, API design, and collaboration across teams. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a software developer with a focus on backend development. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot. Strong experience in API design, architecture, and contract-first development. Proven expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Proficiency in design patterns, object-oriented programming, and best coding practices. Demonstrated experience in code quality, code reviews, and writing effective test cases. Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Solid background in data integrations and working with various data sources. Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative and team-oriented environments. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with ServiceNow platform integrations. Familiarity with Dynatrace for performance monitoring. Knowledge of Snyk for security vulnerability management. Experience using Jira for agile project management.
