| From: Kartik Mahajan, GVR Infotek [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] PowerApp Developer Client: NYC Department of Correction Location: East Elmhurst, NY (Onsite) Duration: 6+ months GC/USC only Need local to NY, NJ Candidates within an hour of driving distance with DL copy Required Skills Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics Flow and Microsoft Teams technologies. Hands-on experience with the latest web standards and technologies, HTML5, CSS3, React JS, Native React, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience with C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET preferred. Experience with Mobile development (Android / iPhone ) required. Experience working with REST and SOAP and data interchange standards including XML and JSON Relational databases and SQL (DB2 and MSSQL). Experience in database design and development using DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and any other RDBMS. Linux command line and basic shell scripting. Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT/GITHUB, Jira or other issue/project tracking/management tool. Well versed in different development methodologies (Iterative, Agile, Scrum etc.). Self learner with ability to work with new technologies. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team, self-motivated, and enthusiastic. Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision. Experience working as part of a large-scale enterprise IT organization supporting mission critical applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, technical staff, operations managers, project managers. Strong and articulate verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will work with the team to deliver application systems, provide production support for existing web applications, create technical design documents, mentor other developers, contribute to the evolution of the system's architecture and technology, as well as the continual improvement of the development process. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software to meet business and customer needs Develop new modules/applications and maintain and enhance existing applications using Microsoft Power Apps Experience with Mobile development (Android/iPhone ) Demonstrate proficiency in installing and deploying Power Apps Organizations, creating Power Apps entities, business workflows and processes Integrate existing systems and services into the Power Platform architecture. Adhere to architecture, design, implementation and security standards and best practices Develop reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives. Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems. Participate in scope of work estimation and forecasting. Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality business outcomes Conduct analysis to determine integration needs, and design and plan integrations Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate. Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues. Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals Adhere to established development practices and processes. Minimum Qualification Requirements 1. A Baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, management of infrastructure; or 2. Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, management of infrastructure. 3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or 2 above.
